Very good post Denis! I was helping a colleague with his application, and was trying to stress these points again and again...
Now I need to prepare the same strategy for myself in terms of career development!

Hi Wes,

How are you? I'm hoping to be in the class of 2014, and I was wondering if I could set up some time with you to talk about your experiences in the program. I was born and raised in El Salvador, and I'm hoping to do the Spanish track.

Thanks!
Ricardo.

Thank you for your blog. I have enjoyed your many entries.

I have been interested in the Lauder Institute for years and I plan to apply for the Chinese track for the class of 2014. I am an US Army Chinese linguist with extensive language training (including an immersion trip to China). My passion for further understanding the language/culture/people/business pushes me in this direction.

So far, I have been in contact with several Lauder students (Chinese track and a former classmate from West Point - Arabic track) and I plan to visit Marcy during my visit.

If you have time to exchange contact information, please write to me. I would love to pick your brain on more details of the program.
